Production Hold Lifted
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Los Angeles, CA - April 18, 2018
The Free Speech Coalition announced today that the production hold, called on Thursday April 12th due to an adult industry performer testing positive for HIV, can be lifted, in light of clear confirmatory results from all the performer’s first-generation PASS contacts, and performers can return to work.
The Performer Availability Screening Service reopened at 10:30am PST, and FSC assured the industry that production could resume immediately there after. Any performer with a current clear test may return to work, and anyone with an expired 14 day test may now go re-test.

APAC is committed each performer’s right to privacy, and we again remind our members, as well as the community and the press, that in compliance with HIPAA regulations, personal or health information about any person is not allowed to be released, and we ask that all parties continue to abstain from speculating about the identity of anyone involved.
The Adult Performer Advocacy Committee’s mission is to support the safety and well-being of individual performers and our community. We stand against blaming specific performers for contracting HIV, and we encourage performers to take steps to ensure HIV- negative scene partners are not exposed. We encourage any performers in need support during this time to reach out.
APAC members meet once a month in Los Angeles, and the Board of Directors can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org
